Increasing effectiveness of services and funding

Integrated, national and regional policies and practices that promote and ensure access to effective services, and sufficient funding to support service delivery, care, support and protection at national and subnational level, will make a lasting difference on the lives of children in the region. HIV and AIDS responses need to align with national and regional AIDS plans and plans of action on vulnerable children at all levels. This strategic focus area also promotes efforts to ensure AIDS-sensitive social protection frameworks for children and their families are developed and implemented, and civil registration and other key processes are improved.
