MIET AFRICA requires a Programme Manager to take responsibility for the successful implementation of the regional FutureLife-Now programme. This is a part-time contract position for a period of eight (8) months, commencing 1 May 2019 and ending 31 December 2019. The successful applicant will be based at MIET AFRICA’s head office in Durban, South Africa.
Requirements:
Post gradulate qualification in a relevant field
Experience, knowledge and understanding of the education, health and development environments
Minimum five (5) years’ experience in managing large, complex projects
Extensive experience in working with government and non-government partners
Experience in establishing and maintaining high level relationships with Ministries of Education and Health
Excellent management skills, including reporting and management of complex budgets
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Good computer skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
