MIET Africa Vacancy: FutureLife-Now Programme Manager

MIET AFRICA requires a Programme Manager to take responsibility for the successful implementation of the regional FutureLife-Now programme. This is a part-time contract position for a period of eight (8) months, commencing 1 May 2019 and ending 31 December 2019. The successful applicant will be based at MIET AFRICA’s head office in Durban, South Africa.

Requirements:

  • Post gradulate qualification in a relevant field

  • Experience, knowledge and understanding of the education, health and development environments

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in managing large, complex projects

  • Extensive experience in working with government and non-government partners

  • Experience in establishing and maintaining high level relationships with Ministries of Education and Health

  • Excellent management skills, including reporting and management of complex budgets

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Good computer skills (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
