Child and Family Studies and Parenting in Africa Network (PAN) are hosting a conference themed "Strengthening Families Through Parenting." The conference is taking place at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) on the 16 and 17 of May 2017. 

This conference will be an opportunity for Child and Family Studies to present some of the research conducted in parenting and family, presenting and collating theory and practice in parenting in relating to strengthening families and providing a platform for organisations to share and provide a way forward.

The conference aims to bring together specialists, practitioners and government to discuss and debate around issues of parenting and its effects on children, families and communities.
