Peer learning session by youth and for youth.
Adolescent pregnancy has been persistently high in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2018 RIATT-ESA, in partnership with Save the Children Sweden, hosted a webinar to highlight the drivers of early and unintended pregnancy (EUP), as well as its impact on girls’ education in Eastern and Southern Africa. The webinar emphasized the increase of EUP in parts of Africa and the need for a layered response.
This second webinar by RIATT-ESA and Save The Children Sweden Regional Hub is a peer learning session by youth and for youth that aims to highlight youth perspectives and inform the messaging in SRHR programmes and campaigns to prevent EUP in the region.
